They are just pushing 5G phones primarily focusing on the future proof of the device. In this way you don’t have to worry about upgrading to any other phone, at least in the next 2 to 3 years when 5G networks should be in full force.

Will 4G going to end after 5G launch
The answer to this question is no, 4G is going to stay here while the 5G network is going to launch. So there is no downfall in 4G smartphones. the 5G network will launch gradually, and it is unlikely it is going to put a major dent in demand for 4G services for at least a few years. So, even if you like to buy the 4G smartphone right now, then you will also find enough value in the device to use it for a couple of years.
Update to 5G smartphone or stick with 4G?
