The Municipal corporation of Delhi has notified us with their decision of implementing a period system in which one teacher would teach only one subject in different classes.
Yesterday Delhi Municipal Corporation was instructed to wash off the old myth wherein one teacher used to take multiple subjects in a class. By maintaining the instructions the teaching work will be done in all municipal schools on the basis of a uniform monthly teaching plan.
According to the MCD, in case of transfer of students from one municipal school to another, the student’s would get no trouble of any kind in the course of their studies. Also this will help us improve the “weak students” by increasing their learning level.
As per the new system is concerned, teachers will also be free for an addition of activities by themselves, improving the teaching-learning process which lands on earmarking for organizing co-curricular activities in schools.
In order to get smooth implementation of the entire program, the mentors are required to get appointed to ensure its implementation in the schools.
