One of the most used email services across the globe is known to be Gmail which makes it easier to access other services such as YouTube, Docs etc, by the tech giant. 

Though it is difficult to deny that thousands of emails in our Gmail account eat up a huge chunk of the free space which is offered by Google. Whosoever is unaware, Google trends on providing 15GB of free cloud storage for every possible service.

This is meant to have the possibilities of sharing  the 15GB storage with photos, contacts, PDF and other content stored in Google services so that the emails don’t occupy much space,collectively thousands of emails are recorded to consume a good space.

If the fulfillment of the free Google storage has occurred,then either you have to pay to buy extra storage or just to delete your content to create free space.

Deleting mails daunts like becoming a pretty tedious job, especially while thousands were there offering a few features which helps to delete emails more easily.

 The tech giant also tends to serve an auto-deletion feature which enables automatically deleting emails according to the filters that are set by the user.

Know how to delete old emails on Gmail then go to the search box that allows users to search for particular mail also to delete old emails. while doing so, you can type the name or email address in the search box by selecting the ‘All’ tab on the top then tap on the delete icon.

Emails with large files on Gmail contain heavy space, so if you want to delete them, go to the search bar entering the ‘has:attachment larger:10M’ showing all the emails taking up more than 10MB space. Now select all the mails which you wish to delete and then finally click on the delete icon along with making sure to delete the files from the Trash folder too.
