Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) unveils its flagship SUV Grand Vitara today, an automobile manufacturer’s version of the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder and the SUV’s production will begin in August.
For its upcoming midsize SUV Grand Vitara, the company had already commenced bookings last week, now customers can book the vehicle with an initial payment of Rs 11,000.
Highlighting Grand Vitara’s competition with the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Tata Harrier, among others.
MSI Senior Executive Director (Sales & Marketing) Shashank Srivastava said about its model l, the company is looking forward to strengthening its presence in the segment where “we currently lag behind the competition”.
He also notified that the model is well suited for Indian conditions with multiple trims featuring only a mild and strong hybrid system mated to a petrol powertrain.
The production of the model will be at Toyota Kirloskar Motors Karnataka-based plant due to the global collaboration pact inked between Toyota and Suzuki.
Srivastava notified that the upcoming model will fetch strong hybrid technology delivering class-leading fuel efficiency unlike the compact SUV segment, having many models, the mid-SUV segment has less crowd offering growth opportunities.
We can expect the actual launch of the Grand Vitara during the upcoming festive season, leveraging the expertise of Suzuki design and engineering that takes birth from a legacy of SUV capabilities.
Talking about its bold SUV design, the Grand Vitara is soon going to unfold its sophisticated interiors, powertrains and segment-leading features making a strong statement, claimed by the company.
Recently, MSI had launched the all-new version of the compact SUV Brezza costing between Rs 7.99 lakh and Rs 13.96 lakh its (ex-showroom) price.
