OnePlus’ upcoming flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 10T 5G lacks the iconic ‘alert slider’ letting the users manage audio mode with just one toggle. The company reveals the reason behind ditching this switch, is its unaffordable OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G and the semi-premium, OnePlus 10R.
The company said that the decision made to “have enough internal space for other components needs high wattage charging, a large battery capacity, and better antenna signal” , the first OnePlus flagship phone to obsolete the mute button.
The slider seems to cover up to 30 mm sq ensuring the OnePlus 10T delivers in the areas who knew our users value most while retaining the alert slider stacking the device’s motherboard thicker. Although removal of the slider makes the device thicker the compromise for OnePlus decides to make.
OnePlus also stated a revelation that the OnePlus 10T 5G will not get Hasselblad branded cameras featuring on the OnePlus 9 series and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-powered OnePlus 10 Pro.
On its essential offerings better colors, though the camera tuning for not bringing up a substantial difference. The exact reasons to ditch this camera feature is still unclear but OnePlus is proven to offer an ultimate performance flagship smartphone at the device’s chosen price point. The upcoming OnePlus 10T 5G is relatively more affordable than the OnePlus 10 Pro, which costs Rs 66,999 in India.
Meanwhile, OnePlus will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset featuring a 50-megapixel IMX766 sensor also rumored to support 150W fast charging and coming with a 6.7-inch display. The rear cameras are housed in a black squarish module along with at least two color options – black and green. And it is rumored to be launched on 3rd of August.
